Time zone management

Many companies claim that they offer a 24 hour translation service.  In many cases however, this is an industry 'no, no'. To accomplish a 24 hour service, a compromise has to be made.

For instance, if you want a French translation overnight and France is sleeping, a 24 hour service will get you a translation, but it will come from somewhere else, perhaps the USA or Australia. What is wrong with that? you may ask.

Out of touch translation
The problem every translator faces when they physically move away from their native language, is that they quickly become out of touch with their language. Only translators who live with the language can ever be truly up to date with its latest developments and cultural references.

It is for this reason that Creative Translation, only uses translators who actually live in the target market, Creative Translation does not offer a 24 hour service but we do make clever use of time zones only for languages whose working hours are opposite to ours.
